Contributes to complex analysis of potential risk to information security and recommends innovative solutions Develops and maintains detailed documentation to support information security compliance Provides troubleshooting support to day-to-day operational and support functions, including monitoring and maintaining a ticket queue Actively participates in tactical and strategic planning internally and for clients Identifies opportunities for new processes and procedures, as well as, participates in new security projects and implementations Prepares briefings and reports of analysis methodology and results in support of IT security incidents-Contributes as subject matter expert to solution designers for new business proposals Provides a high level of support for security issues, including security incident handling, authentication server management and virus outbreak remediation Recommends, develops, monitors and enforces information security policies Conducts technical analysis of computer security incidents related to malware, intrusion attempts and system level log analysis; provides testimony in support of the case findings Partners with senior staff to deploy and support the technical infrastructure for secure access to internal systems, applications, and infrastructure, including Firewall, IDS, VPN and authentication systemsSkillsIT security industry experience and an understanding of the associated technology risk Strong working knowledge of Perimeter Security Infrastructure like IDS, Firewall, Web Proxies, DLP Working knowledge of UNIX, LINUX and Microsoft technologies Professional trained in data collection, interviewing, and general fraud investigations Working knowledge of the legal concepts related to information security Experienced ability to contribute to cost-benefit analysis to justify investment in security controls to mitigate risks Familiar with database technology and query analysis-Experienced knowledge of system ( i.e. server, desktop) configurations as they relate to system security-Education and Experience-Typically requires 2+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor?s degree; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent experienceCertifications or Other CredentialsCisco Certified Network Associate and Cisco Certified Design Associate preferred; CISSP, CEH, CCSP, CHF1, CISA or CISM required
