Philips Project Manager in Haifa, Israel

Position summary:

The Project manager is in charge of the execution and delivery of all project engineering deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Interllispace Portal products project management

  • Managing a SW project of 250 SW engineers and other supportive functions (system engineering, clinical specialists, translation support, design transfer, etc.)

  • Deliver the project within schedule, scope, budget and quality

  • Drive the execution of the engineering activities

  • Escalate issues to next level when they are outside the engineering purview

  • Formally manage project risks

  • Adhere to SAFe WoW - Participate and represent the project in PI planning events, I&As, and manage demos

  • Formally monitor plan and integrated project schedule and clearly communicates plan and status

  • Manage in a process compliant way (audit-ready at anytime) with a sense of urgency to time

  • Contribute to and adopt process and SAFe related improvements to become repeatable and nimble

  • Develop and execute according to common interfaces defined with other groups

  • Drive the project through positive influential leadership

  • Demonstrate profession behavior and global mindset and be a “role-model”

  • Be open and honest as a member of the global project management team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Software, , M.Sc – advantage

  • Experience in software development

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project management

  • Experience in managing projects of 100+ engineers worldwide

  • Proven influencing skills (drive, leadership)

  • Proven working experience in global, multidiscipline environment

  • Ability to manage several efforts simultaneously (multitasking)

  • Good communication skills and personal relationships

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with English fluency

  • Ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment

  • Preferred Skills: Knowledge of ISP and System-wide analysis abilities

  • Experience from Regulated/ Medical domain- advantage

  • PMP certified – advantage

  • Familiarity with SAFe – advantage

In this role, you have the opportunity to be the key driver for the planning, execution and the delivery of the 200+ engineers in the R&D organization!

You are a part of the ICAP R&D Operations which leads the overall execution of the R&D organization. The team is also responsible for building the right processes that enable the R&D and overall ICAP organization to be efficient and focused on it's objectives.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
