Role Title: Business Operations Coordinator, Office Reception – Herzliya COE

Level: Business Operations Coordinator I

Reports to: Senior Manager, Business Operations


The overall objective and focus of this role is service excellence: anticipating client and visitor needs; delivering professional and efficient client services; building great working relationships; upholding a respectful and courteous demeanour at all times.

Whilst the emphasis is on proper and orderly delivery of reception services, the job holder will also be expected to contribute to the wider business need and support all activity of the Operations Group. In particular, the delivery of timely, accurate and validated business information, data and service requests.

Nature of Work

The role is multifaceted and multifunctional. As the first point of contact for visitors and a central point of contact for facilities service provision, the Office Receptionist is responsible for maintaining a welcoming, calm and positive face for EMC. The primary role of the Office Receptionist is to facilitate solutions to visitor and client needs and provide office administration services.

In addition, the role requires the role holder to support and implement the Operations Group goals in line with industry best practice and the wider betterment of EMC.

Principal Activities and Accountabilities

Greet and direct visitors, making all feel welcome and important;

  • Assist visitors and employees with information, directions and other inquires of a general nature, and know when (and to whom) to direct inquiries requiring specialised attention;

  • Answer all calls in a polite, professional manner, transferring calls or relaying messages accurately to relevant personnel;


  • Fluent English (as mother tongue) and Hebrew;

  • Uphold a respectful and courteous demeanour;

  • Maintain a well groomed professional appearance;

  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area as well as safe work habits;

  • Communicate clearly and effectively;

  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationship with employees, customers and suppliers.


Solid understanding of and commitment to customer service;

  • Effective organizational skills – ability to organize and manage own work load. Flexible;

  • Computer skills – including good knowledge of MS Office programs;

  • Attention to details and high level of accuracy. Punctual.
