ATL is looking for an outstanding research intern in the field of machine learning, preferably with background in computer vision and/or deep learning.
You will join a team of researchers and developers working on state of the art solutions for hand gesture recognition, object tracking, and more, applied to Natural User Interfaces.
Our team develops Project Prague - a cutting edge SDK that allows developers to rapidly define custom hand gestures and incorporate them into their apps.

Research in machine learning / deep learning focusing on applications for real world problems.
Develop tools for data collection, processing and analysis. Publish in leading conferences (optional).
Successful candidates should have the following background and skills:
M.Sc. or Ph.D. student in machine learning / deep learning, or related field.
Candidates must have completed at least one project utilizing machine learning in the industry or in academia.
Familiarity with computer vision topics is an advantage: face/object recognition, tracking, segmentation, projective geometry.
Experience in software development.
Fluency with one or more of the following: MATLAB, Python, C++, C#.
Ability to work independently, and interact with other researchers in Microsoft.
