Microsoft Corporation Senior DevOps Engineer - Media AI (Video Indexer) Group in Herzelia, Israel

The Media AI group is a new group that builds an Artificial Media Intelligence and analytics platform. This group will productize Video Breakdown and deal with innovative ways to extracts insights from Videos as well as inject its technology into Microsoft products such as Microsoft Stream and Dynamics Apps. We are looking for an experienced, senior devops engineer. You will be responsible for the global scaling our service, automate the service lifecycle using cutting edge processes and tools and ensure the continues operation to our customers at the highest throughputs and availability requirement possible. You will own the live site telemetry, monitoring availability, latency and overall system health as well as design, deploy and enforce security and reliability measures.

Requirements for the position:

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent

  • 6+ years of experience with Live site reliability, CI/CD, Security,

    operative and applicative KPI monitoring and alerting, global

    deployments, flighting, Backup and DR, compliance and

    certifications

  • Proven experience with developing and operating cloud

    services on Azure, AWS or GCP is a must

  • Proven experience with wide array of VMs (win, linux, GPU),

    containers and orchestration

  • Excellent control with scripting using Python, Perl, grunt, gulp

    or other scripting languages

  • Passion for elegant architecture

  • Strong problem solving & coding skills

  • Outstanding team player with strong communication skills

  • Independent, capable of making decision in an ambiguous

    environment

  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and being resilient to

    changes
