JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a seasoned, hardworking, smart and over achieving Pre-Sales Engineer with proven experience and a passion for selling technology solutions to senior executives and Big enterprise.

He/she will be responsible for selling into new prospects as well as farming back into existing customers to ensure high renewal and customer satisfaction levels. Measures of success include new customer acquisition rates, renewal rates, up-selling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction and contribution to overall sales team and business success.

The main technologies will be storage infrastructure, Business Intelligence, Object Storage, Data analytics solution that turn data into knowledge, background In data and business analysis and Internet of Things.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support sales executives with solution selling into prospect account base

  • Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles

  • Model the financial business case associated with each sales opportunity

  • Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions

  • Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition

  • Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses

  • Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements

  • Collect and document competitive intelligence

  • Translate business needs to technical specifications.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate has a proven track record in customer facing technical and sales activities. S/he has a growth mind-set and is passionate about digital innovation and its application in the role. The Presales Engineer easily establishes personal impact at different technical and non-technical levels in customer and employer organizations.

The candidate also brings in:

  • Proven work experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer

  • Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions

  • Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives

  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner

  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in:

  • Storage systems (can be from other vendors, Hitachi system will be an advantage)

  • Object Storage and content management.

  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, and ETL frameworks)

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy, knowledge with Pentaho will be advantage.

  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)

  • Knowledge of understanding complex IT systems.

  • Background in Internet of Things platform.

  • Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – both fluent in English and Hebrew

  • Strong presentations skills with the ability to present for the desired audience of variable sizes and adapting the messaging from technical details to overall business requirements as needed

  • Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.

  • BSc/BA or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics, Engineering or relevant field.
