Due to the subjectivity required to build/maintain a clean and industry-leading fashion experience, a Junior Project Manager must validate that products are classified correctly, and reassign incorrectly classified items. This is a vital component as we build new features to deliver a seamless experience.

The Project Manager will need to come up to speed very quickly using Amazon’s internal tools, and will need to be able to sort and manage large numbers of products and define/optimize processes along the way. The ideal candidate should have a understanding of clothing types and fashion trends along with testing experience and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review a daily queue of data to validate or correct product assignments.

  • Possess flexibility to quickly adapt to business needs/changes.

  • Execute tasks in a timely manner and to a high degree of quality.

  • Identify opportunities for efficiency and automation, and help implement those improvements.

  • Train others on custom-built internal tools.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks for long periods of time

  • Proficiency in Excel

  • Data collection experience, creative in data collection methods.

  • Have a composed, poised, and professional demeanor while being willing to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done

  • able to work and communicate with different teams across the world

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree

  • Quality testing experience

  • Experience manipulating SQL queries and mining data

  • Data collection experience, creative in data collection methods.

  • Strong analytical abilities and problem solving skills

  • Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced and results-driven environment

  • Proactive attitude, detail oriented, sense of humor and a team player

  • Self-starter, has high level of ownership
