Marvell Is searching for Senior Software Architect to join the Architecture Team of our iSoC Division, to define the software architecture of Marvell’s next generation Networking SoC Products. Activities and Responsibilities: • Product requirements documentation of the software and system features. • Definition of Software architecture, including partitioning, protocols implementation, Benchmarks, etc. • His main focus shall be networking solution that includes: Packet Processing, Buffer Management, Queue Management, Schedulers, End-2-End networking system flows, Cryptography, Virtualization, etc. • Additional focus shall be on open software protocols and frameworks on top of our bare metal drivers and hardware. • Documentation of Product definition spec, Architectural spec, Product release documents, Benchmark and competitive analysis documents closely with Technical Writer. • Drive overall Performance, power and competitive matrices definition with proper cost, schedule and effort tradeoffs • Architecture assimilation between HW and SW • Support Marketing, Apps and sales teams with Pre-sale and customer engagements. •

• B.SC. in Electrical-Engineering • More than 10 years of experience in software design and architecture • Expert in Networking protocols such as: 802.3, FCoE, RDMA, etc. • Expert in Networking systems and functions such as: L2 FWD, L3 Routing, Firewall, Cryptography & Security in Data Center and Enterprise solutions. • Experience with ARM based SoC architecture is an advantage • Previous experience and deep understanding in one, or more, of the following domains: Home, SoHo and Enterprise networking products (GWs, routers, network and storage appliances etc.), WLAN Access Points • Hands-on experience in development of products within the above domains. That should include functional breakdown, traffic flow and management, SW stacks and application code, architecture spec, performance analysis etc. Capable of making the right tradeoffs • Ability to effectively interface with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders • Advantage: Knowledgeable in Linux operating systems as well as bare metal implementations enabling very good liaison between software and hardware and making the tradeoff decisions between the two. • Very good presentation and public speaking skills • Travel is required
