Oracle ACS experts work closely with the client and their partner’s IT staff on a periodic and sustained basis throughout the entire Oracle software lifecycle, forming a long term strategic service relationship with the customer.

Oracle ACS is looking for a motivated and ambitious Java developers that are capable of stepping up to take on the challenge to build a significant capability to drive the delivery of proactive and reactive technical support to Oracle customers, assisting them to shorten time to market, tackle any java development issues like Server side development (J2EE, Hibernate, Spring framework erc). Candidates will be self-motivated and will be part of an Oracle's Professional Services team delivering high-level expertise and packaged services to the leading Israeli companies and to the public & defense sector.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 3 years experience as a Java developer

  • In depth knowledge with one of the following technologies: J2EE, Hibernate, Spring framework

  • Experience in Server side development

  • Experience in relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server)

  • Experience in Application servers (WebLogic, JBoss)

  • Knowledge of basic Linux administration and scripting

  • Experience in C#, .Net – Advantage

  • Experience in Client side development – Advantage

  • Experience in Client side development – Advantage

  • Experience in working with build and continues integration tools (Maven, Jenkins) - Advantage

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

  • Must be a reliable team player and individual contributor with strong sense of accountability

  • Customer focus

  • Ability to work under pressure in escalated situations

  • Must be a self learner

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to deliver quality results on time

EDUCATION:

A Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience. A candidate with enough relevant work experience may be considered as well.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will interface with the customer

  • s IT staff on a regular basis. Either at the client

  • s site or from a remote location, you will be responsible for resolution of moderately complex technical problems related to the installation, recommended maintenance and use and repair/workarounds for Oracle products. You should be highly experienced in some Oracle products and several platforms that are being supported. You will be expected to work with only general guidance from management while advising management on progress/status.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Because of substantial customer interfacing, a demonstrated ability to work with customers on an independent basis with exceptional communication skills, while consistently achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction is essential.
