Job Description:

The Applications Engineer (AE) is a very challenging role that involves the technical and business domains in one position.

At this role you will be exposed to the latest Cadence developments of the Verification solutions working with R&D experts and you will be required to implement those solutions in the customers’ environments.

The Application Engineer is expected to work both independently and in collaboration with other team members to introduce our latest technologies, running evaluations at customer sites that include product demonstrations and competitive benchmarking. The AE is required to help customers to adopt those solutions and to provide technical support to ensure customer success and satisfaction. AEs are expected to manage multiple activities concurrently, and work with Account Managers and AE management to set their priorities.

At this role you will work with our main and leading customers, supporting the adoption of Cadence Verification solutions and helping the customers Verification engineers to achieve their goals and beyond.

Development time will be spent gaining expertise in additional, or specialization tools,broadening focus from product emphasis to methodology, sharpening Account Management skills, and learning to leverage success.


  • BSc with Electrical engineering or Computer Science

  • Min of 3 years of experience with Verification.

  • Experience with Developing Verification environments using System Verilog or Specman /e

  • Familiar with the eRM, OVM or UVM methodologies

  • Experience with Unix / Linux environment

  • Very good English knowledge, capable to have fluent discussions and communicate through emails

  • Team orientation, mature work attitude, and good judgment under pressure
