Dell Senior PreSales Engineer - RSA Security in Tel Aviv, Israel

Job Description:

RSA, is seeking energetic, service-driven individuals to join its sales staff as Senior PreSales Engineers supporting RSA solutions within our customer and channel organization. In the position of Senior PreSales Engineer you will be required to grow sales of our industry-leading security portfolio. The Senior PreSales Engineer is responsible for ensuring the technical win at customer accounts. He/she will work closely with the sales. The Senior PreSales Engineer will be the technical liaison in all pre-sales activities between partners, sales team, product management and engineering. To support the sales organization the individual will provide support for product demonstrations, technical discussions, RFI, RFP, partner training and knowledge transfer, and general information security best practices. The Senior PreSales Engineer will provide architectural designs, best practices, technical explanations and integration support.

As Senior PreSales Engineer, we are looking individuals with a strong thought leadership, and proved experiences of a PreSales Engineer position before.

The Senior PreSales Engineer will also be the key individual articulating RSA solutions within the Dell Technologies ecosystem and engaging with Dell Technologies other PreSales Engineers.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Drive the technical pre-sales process and act as a technical resource for the Sales team.

  • Demonstrate RSAs technologies effectively to partners and customers.

  • Deliver technical presentations to audiences of 5 - 50.

  • Deliver technical trainings to resellers and customers.

  • Ensure the technical win at all accounts.

  • Perform installations, troubleshooting, setups, and configurations in conjunction with partners at customer sites.

  • Perform Proof of Concepts with prospective partners and customers.

  • Proactively follow up with partners/customers and accounts.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven PreSales Information technology experience across industry verticals during the past 5 years.

  • Able and willing to speak to live audiences and discuss topics related to general security solutions, applied security practices, security and corporate compliance, etc. as well as provide training and instruction.

  • Able to handle complex situation and take decision accordingly

  • Have a high view on his mission and delivers RSA mission, vision and value.

  • Demonstrated ability to balance the desire for “technical excellence” and commercial requirements.

  • Team player, and the ability to inspire excellence in other systems engineers

  • Highly motivated

  • This position requires working knowledge of multiple network and security devices. Hands-on experience is required.

  • Responsible for outlining the hand over of responsibility and technical briefing of the requested solution by the customer so PSO can accurately formulate the requirements into a SOW and engage with the customer.

  • To technically support marketing activities in the region.

  • Acts as pivot between Sales, SE, PMM and PS to jointly define and package repeatable solutions

  • Works with local sales team to provide “engagement advice” in the form of territory plan definition and implementation as appropriate (e.g., application definition, technical presentation specifications and demo plans

  • Identifies and drives opportunities for technical synergy among RSA solutions.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Experience in the following is advantageous, but not a pre-requisite

  • CISSP certified

  • SOC : Security Operations Centers

  • GRC : Governance risk and Compliance

  • SIEM – Security Information and Event Management tools

  • Authentication: Basic authentication, two factor authentication e.g RSA SecurID , biometrics, smart cards, SMS authentication

  • Identity and Access Management solutions

  • E-Commerce anti-fraud technologies

  • Working understanding of Firewalls, IDS, IPS, as well as encryption techniques and methods desirable.

  • Hardware and OS platform/NOS Administration –, Microsoft 2000, 2003 and XP server, UNIX (any flavor, RedHat & Solaris a plus)

  • Active Directory and LDAP – Provisionning tools solutions

  • Networking experience: TCP/IP, Ethernet, Token Ring, etc. Cisco (routers, switches, VPN or Storage a plus)

  • Applications: Citrix, Microsoft IIS, Microsoft OWA, Microsoft IWA, RDBMS, Apache Web Server, BEA WebLogic, etc.

  • Web Services: SAML, SOAP, DCOM, JAVA etc.

  • Firewall and VPN: Checkpoint, Nortel, Cisco, Juniper (Netscreen), etc.

Language Requirements:

  • Fluent in English – written and oral

  • Travel of 35% - 65% will be required for this position.
