The Threat Intelligence Center is focused on building cutting-edge solutions, countering adversary-based threats to Microsoft and its customers through dissemination of threat intelligence, proactive hunting, incident response, and the development of new solutions and methods to detect adversary activity, investigate and respond to the attacks.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineering, you will have the opportunity to develop high scale Azure cloud service that run 10s of millions of transactions a day! We’re using the state of the art technologies like Cloud services, Big Data, data analysis and detection techniques over Machine learning.

Delivering advanced protection to Exchange Online and Windows Microsoft services. The team develops efficient, effective and scalable detection engine, serving different customers in different topologies, ranging from our cloud fabric to internal deployments. Come help us detect tomorrow’s advanced attacks and scale the service for the future!

Qualifications

Key skills and qualifications:

• / M.Sc. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or equivalent training)

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience

• Good communication skills and an eye for details

• Strong programming skills and understanding of data structures/algorithms

• Strong problem-solving skills and technical judgment

• Innovative thinking to solve hard problems in ways that meet both customer and business goals

• Team player, confident and enthusiastic.

Advantage:

• Experience in building and deploying services with a fast-changing update cycle

• Knowledge in cyber security and exploit/threat detection technologies

• Deep understanding of identity management and privacy

• Deep understanding of operating system and computer networking concepts
