Microsoft Corporation Senior Software Engineer- Incubation in Herzliya, Israel
The Incubation team at Microsoft’s Israel Development Center, part of the CTO office, is a start-up spirited, small research and engineering team aimed at the future bets for Microsoft and for ILDC. The team mission is incubating new, innovative product offerings that will be at Microsoft’s forefront in the artificial intelligence and cloud era, with the objective of creating an impactful “exit” in these domains.
The job requires designing and building complex systems. Scenarios will involve advanced cloud-based architectures, distributed data storage and sources, leveraging AI, big -data, and supporting functional and nonfunctional requirements.
Ideal candidates will have a high tolerance for uncertainty and ambiguity, a passion for startup culture and willingness to work at all levels of the code. As a member of the small team, you will have the opportunity to shape the culture, ideas, processes and make a significant impact.
BSc. or MSc. In Software Engineering or Computer Science
7+ years of programming experience.
Real world experience in building, designing and shipping several large scale systems
Prior expertise in building cloud based systems and services
Knowledge and experience with UX/UI an advantage
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to take vague requirements and turn them into concrete software design
Great people skills, leadership and collaboration
Outstanding communication skills and comfortable in front of customers
Independent, capable of making decision in an ambiguous environment
Knowledge in Blockchain an advantage
