About the team

Join us in paving the runway for faster automation, quicker end-to-end cycles and overall superior quality of ebay's core services.

We’re looking for a creative, passionate and innovative engineer to help create a robust, scalable and easy to use automation framework and lead the efforts for the entire Structured Data division.

Responsibilities and Ownership

  • Build an automation framework to enable end-to-end testing of complex, highly distributed, micro-service architecture services

  • Define and implement KPIs and metrics for automation success

  • Focal point of knowledge in the site on all automation and end-to-end environments

Professional Qualifications:

  1. Development skills
  • Java – Important

  • JavaScript - A Plus

  1. Automation frameworks/tools:
  • Jbehave/Cucumber - Must

  • Jmeter - Important

  • SonarCube - Important

  1. Systems
  • Ability to ramp up environments from scratch

  • Maintenance and per-environment configuration

  1. Databases
  • MongoDB, CouchBase, Oracle - A Plus
  1. BigData Technologies
  • Hadoop, Spark - A Plus
  1. Build & Deployment Tools and technologies
  • Docker – Important

  • Jenkins – Important

  1. CM Tools
  • GIT – Must

  • GitHub

Personal Qualifications:

  • High level of English

  • Good Team Player

  • Broad development overview (knowledge of the entire development process) – Important
