We are looking for a senior compute Presales Consultant to join our Hybrid IT Presales team!

As a member of the Presales team, you will possess exceptional presentation, written and verbal skills. You must have deep technical understanding of IT infrastructure in general, and ideally have experience in particular with Server technologies.

Hands on technical experience is a definite plus. You must be engaging and possess the ability to quickly gain credibility with your target audience. A passion for technology, a positive attitude, and being a team player is essential.

The candidate will serve as the subject matter expert for servers and compute solution and platforms for HPE Israel.

Your key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Solution Planning and Design: Architecting an appropriate technical solution to meet the customer’s requirements. Investigating and optimizing a solution’s fit to the requirements of an opportunity. Adapting solution design to new requirements.

  • Maximizing opportunity: Gathering and assessing customer needs, both business and technical, identifying related needs (lead generation, opportunity expansion), site-specific parameters and constraints that impact the solution.

  • Client/customer relationship: maintaining excellent communications with customer management and technical teams. Representing the company as a technical expert with customers.

  • Subject Matter Expert: Developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of current and emerging technologies and trends in areas of expertise.

  • Team collaboration: Partnering effectively with others in the account team and across the organization, to ensure problem resolution and customer satisfaction. Actively supporting the account team with solution advice, proposals, presentations, and other customer communications.

Key Skills to be successful in the role

  • In depth technology knowledge, broad understanding of IT architecture and components – specifically in compute/servers technologies

  • Ability to translate customer’s business needs into HPE’s set of offerings

  • Broad knowledge of the industries, common problems, and customer’s needs

  • Ability to think strategically and interface with all levels of management and technical peers

Educational and Professional Requirements

  • Technical University or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent programming experience)

  • Typically 10 years or more, of experience in technical consultative selling or similar role.

  • Technical and/or infrastructure implementation hands-on experience – an advantage.

  • Strong persuasive communications skills with customer management as well as technical peers.

  • Excellent presentation skills.
