Microsoft Corporation Startup Success Manager-Accelerator in Tel Aviv, Israel

The Partner + Startup Experience Team, under Growth + Ecosystems, is looking for a team member who thinks like an entrepreneur, is passionate about cloud services and is motivated to drive Microsoft’s engagement with growth-stage startups. The goal of this individual is to work closely with later stage startup companies to achieve commercial success and accelerate their growth with Microsoft in market. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with a portfolio of Startup Co-sell Ready companies. Specifically, the SSM will:

  • Be the Go-To-Market lead for Co-sell Ready startup activity in region.

  • Build and execute partner GTM plans by partnering with OCP and MSFT field stakeholders to deliver Azure growth

  • Evangelize GTM activity for all portfolio startups in region

  • Lead execution on co-marketing programs with the regional partner portfolio

  • Drive business performance measured by revenue (Co-sell pipeline, wins, and Azure usage & consumption)

  • Evangelize partner solutions with the Microsoft sales teams to foster proactive engagement with Channel Management and Field Seller’s Review pipeline to drive sales opportunity velocity

  • Manage co-sell pipeline in Partner Sales Connect/MSX

  • Prepare the portfolio startups for a deeper integration with Microsoft, including more formalized sales, marketing and product channels.

  • Be the trusted advisor to the partner and provide feedback on areas to improve partnership

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • 8-15 years’ experience in marketing (GTM development), business development, partner management and/or sales.

  • Proven success in developing Go-To-Market plans and business development plans with early stage companies and transforming them into execution.

  • Proven record of growing new businesses and building business relationships with senior levels within partner organizations.

  • Previous experience in cloud technology sales and development and/or experience in an entrepreneurial or startup environment is a strong plus

  • Strong networking capabilities between Microsoft and our strategic partners, as well as a demonstrable network across the emerging technology ecosystem.

  • Strong decision-making, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, and follow through capabilities

  • Results driven; strong analytical skills with exceptional verbal and written.

  • communication and ability to effectively communicate to a senior leadership team.

  • Partner-centric with a solid understanding of Microsoft partner management and/or the start-up ecosystem.

  • Strong cross-group collaboration skills and ability to work across multiple stakeholders.

  • Ability to work autonomously and independently within a global team structure.

  • Fluency in English.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Degree (Bachelor’s in business, engineering or equivalent) required; Graduate degree in Business preferred.
